I’ve played songs for people for over twenty years: coffee shops, pubs, bars, restaurants, weddings, concerts. Some songs get a room singing from the first line. Others, just as good on paper, get nothing, and you only find out by playing them for people.
A couple of years ago I bought a working musician’s list of six hundred songs, built for guitar players on a stage. My first thought was that my ukulele players should have this. My second was that it had to be built differently: for a ukulele player’s hands, and for the couch or group night.
So I started curating. Where there were several versions of a song, I picked the best one. It took hundreds of hours, so you don’t have to spend them.

Can’t I just look these up myself?
Yes, and you’re right to ask. Every chart sits on a free site. What you’re paying for is the time it saves you, and the choosing behind every song: thinking of songs worth playing, picking the best version of each, making sure it’s simple on a ukulele, and rating how hard it is. For this many songs, that took hundreds of hours, on top of twenty years of learning which songs land. On your own, it’s a full evening spent finding each song.
Why do the songs link to chord sites?
To host or print our own copy of every song, we’d need a licence from each song’s publisher, for hundreds of songs. That’s close to impossible, and it would put the price far above $37. A printed book this size would cost a lot to print and ship, too. So we do the part that takes the time, choosing the songs and the best version of each, and link you straight to the chart where it already lives, with the original recording one tap away.
Can I change the key to suit my voice?
Yes. The capo lesson shows you how, with the shapes you already know, and a capo note tells you where one gets a song onto easier shapes.
Can I download the whole book?
