Hi, I’m Dave.
I spent twenty years watching aspiring players quit in the boring part, before the song. So I put the song first.
I had a performing career, then for years I sold ukuleles behind a music store counter, and I watched what happened. People would pick up an instrument, go looking for lessons online, and then nothing. A few weeks later the ukulele was in a corner. Most teaching starts with parts, theory, and drills, and most people quit before they ever get to a popular song. I realized speed is what keeps someone playing, so the work was subtraction: one strumming pattern, a few chord shapes, and the progression those shapes make. That’s the Fast Track, and the course got built around it. Finish it, and you have a library of over two hundred songs built on those chords, yours for life. Where do the songs live, and what do they look like?
Inside the course, online. The Fast Track songs are play-along videos. The Lifetime Song Library is searchable by song, artist, decade or genre. Each song links to the original recording and to a chord chart on Ultimate Guitar, free to view, the best version picked for you, with a note on which key suits the chords from the course. Print what you want.
Is the price in US dollars?

Do I need to read music or know any theory?
No. There isn’t a note of sheet music in the course. You learn chord shapes and strums, then you play songs with them. If you ever want theory later, what you learn here is the foundation for it.
My hands aren’t what they used to be. Can I still do this?
Yes. Four soft nylon strings, a short neck and light finger pressure make the ukulele one of the most forgiving instruments there is. If you can close your hand around a doorknob, you have the dexterity. Pause, rewind, slow any video down, and take as long as you need on every step.
